Triangle is an Oahu neighborhood adjacent to Portlock. Triangle is bordered by Kalanianaole Highway, Poipu Drive and Makaweli Street. Viewed from above, those borders define a triangle shape for which the area was named.
Henry Kaiser began development of the neighborhood back in the late 1950's and early 1960's. At that time this area was known as the Maunalua Triangle.
Triangle was the first neighborhood where Henry Kaiser marketed homes in Hawaii Kai. Mr. Kaiser built homes at Triangle in the 1960's. Some houses have been torn down and replaced with larger, more luxurious homes. Homes at Triangle generally sell in a range of $875,000 - $2,500,000.

Triangle map and driving directions
Taking the H-1 freeway eastbound, continue onto Kalanianaole Highway (72) to Hawaii Kai. Passing Maunalua Bay, continue over the bridge and look for the make a right turn at Lunalilo Home Road.
From Kailua and Waimanalo, take Kalanianaole Highway east past Sandy Beach and Hanauma Bay. Turn left at Nawiliwili Street. If you miss the turn, continue down the hill and turn left at Lunalilo Home Road.
