On the H-1 freeway eastbound, take exit 25A. Bear left onto Waialae Avenue and make a left turn at Saint Louis Drive.
Westbound on H-1, take the Waialae Avenue offramp (exit 26) and stay on Waialae Avenue past Palolo Valley, then turn right at Saint Louis Drive.
Waahila Ridge State Recreation Area
Near the top of Saint Louis Heights is a park that seems to be virtually unknown by the general public. Drive up Saint Louis Drive and take a left at Ruth Place to visit Wa'ahila Ridge State Recreation Area. Here's a place in Honolulu where you can sit amongst the trees and listen to the birds sing, while watching the city life below. The park has trails suitable for hiking and mountain bike riding.
