Kaimalino homes for sale

Home construction in the Kaimalino neighborhood began in the 1950's and further developed in the 1960's and 70's. The area is built out. Occasionally an older home is demolished and replaced with a new home.
Kaimalino home interiors range from 1,600 square feet and some homes exceed 4,000 square feet. The average Kaimalino home interior area is approximately 2,400 square feet. Lot sizes range from 10,000 to 13,000 square feet.
The Kaimalino neighborhood is popular for executives and also for military officers. Kaneohe Marine Corps Base is a few miles down the road. Kaimalino is a quiet community even though the military base is next door, thanks to a buffer zone created by Kaluapuhi Pond.
Oneawa Channel runs from Kawainui Marsh through the Koolaupoku and Kalaheo Hillside neighborhoods and meets the ocean at Kaimalino. Visit Kaimalino and you'll see kayakers paddling from from the open waters and traveling up Kaelepulu Stream. It's a fun place to kayak with calm seas and blue skies.
