Ka'a'awa homes

Take a drive from Kaneohe to the west and visit Ka'a'awa.  When the highway pops out along the ocean and you see Chinaman's Hat, you know you're there.  Coming from the North Shore, look for the Crouching Lion Inn, another Ka'a'awa landmark.

The most popular attraction in Ka'a'awa is Kualoa Ranch.  At Kualoa Ranch, you can go horseback riding, hiking, mountainbiking, ride ATV's or just have lunch.  This area has a huge, lush green valley that's been the site of many movies, including Jurassic Park, George of the Jungle and Windtalkers.

Homes in the area are generally on larger sized lots and are close to the ocean.  It's takes awhile to drive to Honolulu from here.  This is a location more suited to retirement or vacation living, rather than driving to downtown every morning.

Ka'a'awa is such a relaxing place.  Whether you're walking the sandy beaches or hiking along the Ko'olau mountain range, in this neighborhood you can get away from it all. Ka'a'a'wa's population is less than 1,500, a relatively small community on Oahu.
