Enchanted Lake homes in Kailua
Enchanted Lake (aka Kaelepulu Pond) is bordered by Kailua town, Keolu Hills and Lanikai. A meandering canal travels from the lake to Kailua Beach Park. Some people ride their kayaks and small boats to the beach. There's frequently a sandbar that prevents them from going right into the ocean. It's still a fun ride.
Most of the homes at Enchanted Lake were built in the 1960's. It's a desireable neighborhood and residents generally maintain their Enchanted Lake homes nicely.

Enchanted Lake area map and driving instructions
From Honolulu, take the Pali Highway (61) towards Kailua. Past the inter-section of Pali Highway and Kamehameha Highway (83), continue straight towards Kailua on Kalanianaole Highway (72). At the intersection with Castle Junction, turn right and drive about two miles to the Keolu Drive intersection. Make a left turn onto Keolu Drive.
From Hawaii Kai and Waimanalo, take Kalanianaole Highway past Olomana Golf Course, then turn right where the highway intersects with Keolu Drive.
Keolu Drive, Kahili Street, Akumu Street, Wana'ao Road and several other streets meander around Enchanted Lake.
