Ashley's Collection in Waikiki

I thought about it for a few seconds and realized I know the owner, Kim. Her store used to be at Aloha Tower Marketplace. So I walked upstairs and said "Hi Kim!"
Ashley's Collection is located above an ABC store on Ala Moana Boulevard, next to the new Fat Greek restaurant that recently opened. If you don't know where the Fat Greek is, well it's a few steps away from Kobe Steak House. Now you've got an idea, right?

Ashley's Collection (named after Kim's daughter) primarily markets women's aloha wear. Kim buys the fabric and sews the clothing herself. This is a hard working lady!
Kim has some great stuff, I have an aloha shirt from her shop that I wear regularly. The prices are good too.
When you're walking down Ala Moana Boulevard near the Ilikai, Fat Greek, Kobe, ABC Store and of course the Hilton, keep an eye out for Ashley's Collection and check it out. The clothes make great gifts and or buy something for yourself. Some of Kim's biggest customers are women who dance in hula halaus.
Find something you like at a reasonable price and support small business in Hawaii at the same time. Just walk up the stairs and visit Ashley's Collection.

I've just returned from a holiday in Waikiki Hawaii. I noticed Ashley's shop whilst on my tourist trolley coming back in from Ala Moana Mall. I popped in the next day and bought a beatiful Mu Mu, Kim the owner was so delightful and helpful. I strongly recommend anyone to shop there. Thank you
